OMG..I love love love this product. I am an African-American woman living in Sweden. I have to admit that products for black hair in the Swedish market are lacking but I ventured into NK, one of Sweden's most exclusive retail stores and I saw this bottle on the shelf. I am convinced that this is the best product invented and when combined with a top quality flat iron, the result is fierce!!

Okay people....I have the worst of the worst of hair. My hair reacts to humidity like a puffer fish. The slightest humidity level around my hair and poof...instant frizz and poofiness. It is very hard for me to find a product thick enough yet light enough for my hair. And this product was amazing on the very first try!! Usually it takes a few swipes with the iron for my hair to lay straight. Nope not with this product. First try and instant results. I did need more than 2 or 3 drops (that's how stubborn my hair is). But I am so very pleased with how my hair turned out. I wish I would have known about this sooner I could saved bundles of money I spent in hair products.

This product works well for frizzy, unruly, or color damaged hair. It is best used with heat, like a flat iron. I've tried other products (such as the John Frieda line) that really weigh down your hair - the Redken product works better and does not weigh it down or feel ickey on your head. This makes your hair shine as if it were healthy and undamaged. Highly recommended

Hello there reader. I am an african american woman and I heard about this product on youtube, then longhaircareforum, and of course, Amazon. Because All of those sites raved about it I decided to try it. I just tried it today before I flat-ironed my hair and it came out smooth, straight and shiny as expected, and I am going on 6 weeks post-relaxer. Seems like a good product to help with stretching your relaxers which I am doing. Very Nice.I bought mine from Super Walmarts Hair Salon though, because I wanted it ASAP, plus it ends up being a couple dollars cheaper because of the shipping & handling on here. Im very happy I heard about it.

Let me just say this: Wow.
I have very poufy hair (kind of curly, but mostly poufy) and I have been trying everything to get it to straighten. Every time I try to blow dry my hair straight it just gets even pouffier than normal, and then when I try to flat iron it it ends up looking like someone dumped a bucket of straw on my head.
Until today, when I used this. After reading the reviews on amazon, I went out and bought this and WOW, is this stuff good. I used 6 pumps (2 on each side, 2 on the back) I was amazed as I was blow-drying my hair straight that I could see on the brush that it was getting shiny and smooth (I'm still new to blow-drying, and usually it looks like a dull and frizzy bird's nest). I then used a drop more per section before flat ironing and my hair actually looks GOOD! I can't believe it!
I'm not normally a fan of Redken, but this stuff was great! I used John Frieda before and it ended up making my roots look really greasy (and trust me, I do not have greasy hair), making my hair no less poufy than normal, and making my flat iron steam. Ouch. With this stuff, my hair is shiny, straight, NOT poufy, not greasy, just shiny and amazing. This comes highly recommended.
