This is one of my favorite products for curly hair- I have medium thickness with loose curls- and I use 2 products for whichever mood I'm in - I also live in Fl in very humid conditions- the Kenra Extra Volume Mousse I've been using for about 2 years now and it gives me beautiful defined curls with no frizz - I put it on damp hair and let it it air dry and I definetly use it when I'm in the mood for a more polished look without having to straiten my hair- you only need a little bit- the other product I use is curls rock - by tigi for a more unruly untamed look. hope this helps.

By C. Parsons My hair is sorta thin and always needs a little bit of goop for volume. Kenra's mousse is the best volumizing product I've tried and trust me - I've tried everything from expensive to cheap. I always thought you needed to use a golf ball size of mousse but that's not the case with Kenra's. I have shoulder length hair and if I use more than a dime sized amount on my roots my hair looks so greasy - so be very careful! For the record, after I apply Kenra's mousse I put some Aveda Confixor gel in my hair as well as I've had good volumizing results with it as well. I'm sure the mousse would work just fine on it's on, but I like the security that Aveda gives me. And I love the smell of Aveda's Confixor as well. :-)
