Worth EVERY Penny... Nov 15, 2010
By K. Brown
"Kamazing Poet"
I am african american and I have soft fine hair that tends to get frizzy at times. I read the reviews on this product and debated whether or not to spend $13.00 on such a small bottle. I was prepared to return it if need be. Thats until I TRIED IT! OMG! This is seriously one of the best products that I have ever used on my hair. I apply it before curling or flat ironing my hair and the results were amazing, I was so shocked!! My hair looked like I had literally just stepped out of a beauty salon! Again, the price is stiff but you wont regret this purchase because it is WORTH it! Im using this stuff for life!

Superb for Fine Hair Mar 14, 2010

I use Chi Silk Infusion Farouk CHI Transformation System Silk Infusion 12oz not only prior to flat-ironing my very curly hair, but as a daily leave-in conditioner, as well.
My hairdresser, Laurie, has a granddaughter who also has fine hair. Laurie prefers Farouk's BIOSILK BIOSILK by Biosilk Silk Therapy Conditioner 34 Oz for her own hair, which is more coarse than mine or her granddaughter's, but notes that Chi Silk Infusion works much better on her granddaughter's fine thin blonde hair much better than Biosilk.
Laurie also has commented many times on how Chi Silk Infusion is the only product that works as well as it does on my fine hair (I have fine hair but I have a lot of it) so she has come to the conclusion that fine hair drinks this stuff up like a thirsty person drinks water.
Chi Silk Infusion "de-frizzes" my curls better than anything I have ever used, as well. I don't get concerned about my hair on rainy days here in Oregon any more.
For my type of hair, it doesn't build up or get gummy or icky. It took me ten years to grow my hair long, and so I'm VERY interested in keeping it as long and as healthy as possible.
Chi Silk Infusion is paramount in helping me keep my hair long, healthy, and so silky soft and smoothe that you'd never guess I had a frizz problem.
If you tried Farouk's Chi Silk Infusion and it seems too heavy, try Farouk's Biosilk.
Conversely, if you tried Farouk's Biosilk serum and really like it but you think you could still use more silky conditioning, try Farouk's Chi Silk Infusion.

This is OK but I recommend Biosilk Therapy Treatment....... Jan 12, 2007
By Bladen's Mommy This was Ok but the Biosilk Therapy is 10 times better. They are both made by Farouk so I thought they would be the same. I was wrong. The Biosilk makes my hair look and feel so silky smoothe. They are in the same price range.

Worked Fine at First... Mar 13, 2011
By Hanaberry For the first few weeks or so of using this product, I was really pleased with the results. After a while, it left so much build-up on everything I used... My flat iron had a disgusting brown film around the edges and even my hair started feeling dirty... I would only use a dime sized amount and I have long hair. Even washing my hair a few times wouldn't get it as clean as it should have been. Needless to say, I've stopped using this product.

Smooths my hair. Mar 05, 2011
By "Leo" Initially, this product appeared not to do anything for my hair; however, with continued use (two-weeks), I have noticed that my hair is softer, smoother, and my ends look a lot better (mended). The only negative is that it does smell like Old Spice Cologne from the 80s. I use this product on my hair when it's wet, and also daily when it's dry. I use it usually before bed (a dime sized amount), then before styling it in the morning. The product does not cause any build up in my hair, which is a plus, and it is very lightweight. If hair serums are too oily or heavy for your use, this may be a great alternative for you. Also if you have TIGI Bedhead in After Party, I would pass on this product since I get the same results using that product.
